Marbelled Paintings 2007-08

These paintings (acrylic on paper, unless otherwise stated) are a result of a marbling class I took this summer. From these "wallpaper"-ish backgrounds, I've been able to carve out my own subject matter. It's a whole new direction for me!

Landscapes/Nature

Color-infused crimson trees & other imaginary places. My landscapes are dreamed up and don't depict any actual place, creating what I hope is a little mystery.
