Giclees

Giclee is a French word that means “to squirt”, referring to an ink jet printing process that most artists now use to reproduce their original art. Artists in the past have used the lithograph and serigraph processes, but current  high-resolution digital scanning and giclee printing now produce the most accurate reproductions ever.  With archival pigmented inks and acid free papers, giclee prints will probably outlive the original painting.
