Watercolor Paintings
Ah, watercolor---the medium that jump-started me back in to painting in 1990. It's so immediate and so lovely when everything comes out right---and so maddening and muddled when it fails to cooperate! It's a clean, portable medium--great to bring along when traveling. Kids seem to enjoy the "wet into wet" aspect of watercolors, but make no mistake about it--it's not just child's play: today's colorfast pigments are professional and durable and can stand alongside oils and acrylics as a legitimate art form.
